Update:August 9, 4:15 p.m.AC Repairs Completed at Raleigh Municipal BuildingSpecial thanks to Facilities Maintenance and the crews who worked to repair the air conditioning unit at the Raleigh Municipal Building. The repairs are complete and the building will be cooling soon.

Update:August 8, 4:45 p.m.

We have a repair scheduled for the air conditioning in the Raleigh Municipal Building. It will begin at 7 a.m. Wednesday. To make the repair, we will not be able to keep the equipment running at the same level we did today. The outdoor temperature is also expected to be warmer. The building will remain open on Wednesday.

Update:August 8, 8 a.m.While we still do not have an estimated time when the AC will be fixed, we expect the building will be cooler than Monday based on overnight temps and the reduced cooling system. We will share as soon as we know more.Original post: August 7, 4 p.m.

The air conditioning is out at the Raleigh Municipal Building. We have multiple contractors working to assess the issue, but we don’t know when it will be fixed.

We’ll monitor the building’s temperature to maintain a safe and healthy environment for both employees and visitors. During this period, the City will follow protocol for any changes to public meetings. The Planning Commission will meet at 9 a.m. August 8 as scheduled. We will ensure a safe and healthy environment for people attending. We will also work to manage the video stream of the meeting.

If you need to pay a bill, find information to do so here or call 888-905-3169.

We apologize for any inconvenience this situation may cause. The facilities team is working diligently to resolve the issue, and we will keep you informed.
